Kate Beckinsale, despite not having a hit movie in several years and nothing on the horizon other the possible Underworld 4, is working the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival like she is the lead in every film. As a jury member of the 2010 feature film panel she has an all access pass to every red carpet, and coming up on day six of the festival she has yet to disappoint. Gucci, John Galliano for Christian Dior and Balmain are just a few of the names she has been rockin', leaving everyone wondering what will be next.
Other than high fashion, there are some brilliant films premiering at the festival. Keep your eye on the Offical Selections BIUTIFUL directed by Alejandro GONZÁLEZ IÑÁRRITU, starring Javiar Bardem, as well as the new one from Happy-Go-Lucky director, Mike LEIGH, ANOTHER YEAR. Also, the much anticipated Blue Valentine, in the running for the Caméra d’Or, directed by American director Derek Cianfrance, starring Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams. The Festival runs for five more days, ending May 23rd with closing ceremonies and prestigious awards.
